Urge them do impulse buys. If most fast foods can do this, of course you can also do it online. Ask them to buy additional things that go along with what they want. You can also promote related products in your site to make sure that you would get a sale from each potential customer.
If you can make a great offer for those who buy online, then give these offers. Usually, people tried to check on the prices online and then buy to the traditional stores. Discourage this and give them an online offer that they cannot resist.
Encourage large orders. The more sales that you have, the more profit that you can earn. You can encourage this by providing special deals such as free shipping for a certain volume of orders. You can also provide a larger discount for these bulk orders.
Provide details of the charge. Let the customers know the total cost including the shipping charges. People want to know the exact charge before they complete the sales transaction.
Give good customer service so that you will get customers returning to you for another purchase.
